Stephanie and Jeff are clients, but they are also friends. I met Stephanie a little over a year and a half ago when she contacted me to do photos of her with her daughter – she had just moved to Tucson. We got along so well we forged a friendship, and on our first date (ha ha) we got to talking about significant others (she currently didn’t have one) and suddenly, out of nowhere, Jeff (a colleague from my BNI Networking group and also my financial advisor) popped into my head as a potential for Stephanie. So I texted him, that second, and told him I knew a girl I thought he might like. And that, apparently, was that. A year and a half later, they were walking down the aisle, and I decided I might have some talent as a matchmaker. Or maybe it was just meant to be. Either way, they are perfect for each other, and they began their Forever After with a classic ceremony at the Hilton el Conquistador in Tucson’s beautiful desert, and a lovely reception with a touch of Western kitsch at the Hilton’s unique site called the “Last Territory”. The wedding was a delight for all who attended, especially the food (a tapas sampling of Jeff and Stephanie’s favorite foods they’ve started cooking together). I’m so happy for both of you!!
