First, I just have to say that this family is special to me. I mean, don’t get me wrong – you all are. But Tabatha is one of those people. Just one of those people. She is a little magnetic I guess…I don’t know how else to say it. I like being around her because she’s real. And funny. And man, can she write (visit her blog if you don’t believe me. Or even if you do). I met Tabs when she came to me for maternity photos, enormously (and I say that with love) pregnant with Kiedis, who btw has gone from infancy to toddlerhood in the blink of an eye (or the click of a camera shutter). Our friendship is a simple one – a client who became a friend over ice cream, I suppose. I’ve photographed her, and Kiedis, and Kyle, through every stage of growth. And now I’m honored to have had another glimpse of life moving on as this family of three is about to become a family of four. But not just yet. For now, we’ll enjoy those toddler smiles (dontcha just love them?) and the warm glow of pregnancy (which looks mighty good on her) and the love of a family, together despite all the odds.
