Choosing to have your Tucson Senior Pictures at DeGrazia Gallery in Sun is a great choice if you’re into art, architecture, and the desert. From the beautiful wooden doors, historic buildings, and riparian landscape, there’s something for everyone. Mountain views are somewhat limited but the Catalinas do peek out now and again. Mostly, for this location for Tucson Senior Portraits, it’s all about the architectural elements.
This location boasts a beautiful chapel with a roof open to the sky, there is a funky and fun door leading to the main visitor area, and there are old historic structures from when DeGrazia lived there with brick, wood, fireplaces, adobe walls, and gorgeous natural light. There are also a few murals and definitely interesting artistic elements built into the location – from outdoor metal flowers that adorn the gates and walls, to trees covered in ornaments and angel wings. There are also a collection of wooden tee-pee structures that make for interesting backdrops. And pets are welcome!
The natural light at golden hour can be gorgeous (sunrise or sunset) for Tucson senior pictures at DeGrazia. If you’re looking for a lot of Saguaro Cactus for your senior pictures, however, Tucson Senior Pictures at DeGrazia might not be the best location as there are only a few central cacti and they aren’t in the best spot for photos (located smack in the middle of the paved parking area). There are so many wonderful places to photograph in Tucson, especially for senior pictures, but this location has a nice blend and is a great choice!
