There’s something extra special about Bisbee maternity photos – this little town is a unique historic urban location that also has an almost European charm but also a hip grungy side. Oh, the contrasts of Bisbee, AZ.
As a Tucson maternity photographer, I don’t mind the drive to get into slightly cooler temperatures (in the summer) and slightly higher elevations to do a Bisbee Maternity photos. These two loved the idea of this quirky yet urban yet historic yet former mining town set into the side of a mountain – and why wouldn’t you love it too? The location is small enough to walk most everywhere, but interesting enough to be diverse around every corner. All these images below were taken withing a 10 minute walk of where I parked, with the exception of the photos from Lowell, which were a brief 3 minute drive away (and rife with historic cars, abandoned old time business store fronts, and empty streets set against a killer sunset).
Whether it’s Bisbee maternity photos or Tucson maternity photos or maternity photos on a mountain, near the ocean, in the desert, the most important thing is that you love your images! And these two totally did! Pose outside of a biker bar? No problem! Look like an angel taking flight against a mural on a side street? All in! Pose under these flowers against this wall that looks straight out of Tuscany? Done! Stand over here by this rainbow graffiti doorway and try to blend in? Absolutely! And on and on it went.
Though it threatened rain, the skies never did open up. And the sunset was simply spectacular. I was like a kid in a candy store and I can’t wait to go back for more old trucks, interesting murals, historic backdrops and oceans of mountains in the distance!
