A Southwest Airline baby is born!
The STORY: baby Evelyn‘s dad, Grant, was a brand new Southwest Airline pilot and attending his very first day at pilot training and orientation when he found out that he was going to be a dad. He happened to let the secret out to the people who were there with him in the training and, just a few hours later, Southwest Airline employees showed up with a blanket, pictured here, a bear, pictured here, and all manner of beautiful baby gifts for Grant to take home to his wife Scarlett. If you don’t think there are corporations out there that treat their employees with heart, think again. Southwest Airlines, you never fail to impress! And just look at this future pilot, all ready to go! #thefutureofaviation
Newborn photography is one of my joys because I get to incorporate personality into the sessions that I do. This session was a prime example of that – a chance to celebrate a little bit of the story of the family using some of the things that were important to them. Of course I did loads of other photos, as I do, and I’ll share those on a future blog post, but for now, please enjoy this glimpse into the growing Southwest Airline family by helping me welcome newborn baby Evelyn into the world. #iflyswa
