These Arizona Inn family photos embody all that Tucson has to offer in the way of color – pinks and greens and browns – but adds the impressive lush garden backdrop that is rarer in the desert. Grass shows up green and bright and prominent in these Arizona Inn family photos and this family obtained permission for us to use the grounds for the session. I am so glad they did! We used the green and brick to our advantage but then even incorporated some of the really cool lawn furniture, almost with an Alice in Wonderland flair. The colors of the location kind of remind me of St Augustine Florida, which is surprising since we’re smack in the middle of Tucson for Arizona Inn family photos.
Every family session I photograph includes some of the whole family, some of the kiddos alone and together, at least one of the couple (because often they haven’t had a photo of just the two of them in a long time) and some of the kiddos alone. I also love taking ones of mom with the kiddos and dad with the kiddos. And while I always take some posed smiling images, because moms and grandmoms love those, some of the best moments are when I capture candids – especially of the kiddos. We had some wind that added some great movement to the little girl’s hair in one of the photos.
