Being a traveling photographer is a little nuts! Airports and luggage and shipping and packing oh my! I wouldn’t change it for the world, but some days it feels a little daunting! So I missed posting on Friday last week, on account of my brother Jim getting married! So in honor of him (and because I was the photographer of course) I am posting a fantabulous image from their wedding.
Many photographers advertise themselves as “natural light” specific – and natural light is amazing. But I love love love light. Any light. Period. Alternative. Created. Available. Natural. Night. And understanding how to find that light, see it, use it, and bend it for images that are, well, unforgettable, is one of the things I love about being a wedding photographer. Here is an example of simply finding a light, and using it to create a dramatic image.
Find some light this weekend! Lay out in it, photograph in it, harness it, love it.
