I don’t have children. But I still totally get it when people say “oh they grow up so fast!” because I see it. Almost every day. One minute I am photographing their smushy scrunchy sleeping newborn selves and then I turn around at the grocery store or take a little walk in the neighborhood and BAM there’s a full grown, full of personality kiddo in place of that little tiny baby. I am so, so privileged to be able to follow these children, and their families, as they grow. And I say it all the time, but I really mean it when I say I am honored to be a part of this journey, to get to know these children and their parents, and to be able to remark, with all sincerity, that they grow up SO fast.
Here’s a total perspective on just how fast they change – one of my favorite kiddos (Dawson) who went from newborn to 6 months in the blink of an eye. He barely fits on the box now! Amazing.
