Indoor Studio Tucson Headshots are perfect for any time of year, whether it’s too hot or too cold! And you can add on an outdoor session too! As you know, Tucson has some very polarizing weather! It can be too cold sometimes for outdoor photos but, more likely, can also be way too hot! So having a studio allows me to photograph in any weather and any time of day, offering my clients maximum flexibility for their Tucson headshot needs!
I have a dedicated space in my home in Southeast Tucson where I do indoor studio Tucson headshots. I love working from my home because it allows me the flexibility to be at my desk editing until it’s time to do the studio photos. I have a very classic setup in the studio and offer a white, dark gray, black, natural wall, or faux wood backdrop. I also do Tucson boudoir photos in this same studio which makes it super easy to schedule! And I sometimes photograph newborns in the studio as well, if the parents opt to come to me instead of having me come to their home. Having a home studio is so flexible!
But sometimes clients want the best of both worlds – both indoor studio Tucson headshots and outdoor photos. Luckily the neighborhood I live in has a lot of mature landscape and some very colorful architectural elements that can be used and because it’s nearby there’s no additional travel time involved.
This particular session was for a Tucson therapist who does a fair mix of in-person and online counseling. She wanted indoor studio Tucson headshots that showcased her personality, but also something that had an outdoor vibe. So we did a branding session and combined it with a location near my home studio. The first half of the photos in this post show the indoor images I took and the second half of the photos show the outdoor location. Having both indoor and outside photos for her branding session allowed her versatility when using the images.
