Kimberly + AJ: The Buttes at Reflections Wedding Photos

I have never met a couple quite like Kimberly and AJ. They are sweet together, loving with each other, but most importantly they crack each other up. I laughed through their entire engagement session, and then again when I edited it. And when it came time for their wedding and Kimberly emailed me prior to ask if it was OK if she dressed up in a dinosaur costume for the first look, I couldn’t say yes fast enough…it was SO them! So, on a beautiful Thursday at Reflections at the Buttes, Kimberly and AJ said “I do” amidst much laughter, a few tears, and a lot of genuine moments. Their dried lavender bouquets wrapped in burlap, their simple yet lovely Baby’s Breath centerpieces enhanced with twine and wood accents, and dinosaurs scattered around, because, why not? highlighted the rustic chic theme. Kimberly’s dress, from Anthropologie’s BHLDN line, was so stunning – the vintage style with pink tones suited her to a tee, and the blue shoes complimented the ensemble. Kimberly – because she’s cool like this – told her wedding party to wear whatever they felt comfortable in. The flowers were purchased at Sam’s Club #samsclubfloral. The cookies and brownies, in lieu of a cake, were from Safeway #safeway, but made fresh, and (I sampled} they were incredible…This wedding is living proof that you can do whatever you want as long as it’s “you” and thanks to the staff at Reflections at the Buttes, it all came together perfectly.
