As an intuitive creative, I have been criticized for unusual cropping and offset posing (ie, not following the rule of thirds). SMH. Rules are made to be broken. I LOVE doing things that aren`t what everyone else is doing - I don`t want to center every photo, I don`t want a smile for every moment, and I don`t always want to see the whole person in the picture. Creative cropping and breaking the rule of thirds make photos more interesting, engaging, and eye-catching - isn`t that what you want for your Tucson senior pictures? But no worries, Mom, I also get classic photos that even Grandma will adore.

This senior session was one of my VERY favorites because he wanted his motorcycle to feature in the photos. So we found the perfect road to nowhere with the sunset on the mountains, and bam. But it would not have been possible if I hadn`t used off-camera lighting. Being a Tucson senior portrait photographer means being able to work with the elements - the bright sun, the dark monsoon clouds, and the sunset glows- and knowing how to balance them all. And while natural light photos are part of my wheelhouse, using off-camera lighting is where I think I stand out - and so do my seniors. .
