Morning photo sessions are my favorite, especially Lakeside family photos! This location involves everything from mesquite trees to lakes with palm trees, to green grass. Beware, though, it can be super crowded. But it’s worth it if you can get it when it’s quiet.
I loved this family because the daughter surprised her dad for father’s day with this session – she came to visit, along with her brother, to Tucson to have these photos done just for the weekend. I loved the color scheme they chose. The blue stood out against the green and gold of the desert and blended well with the blue reflections off the lake. The turtles even came to visit in the water!
You probably don’t think of lakeside family photos when you think of Tucson – but surprise! We have water. It’s been drier this year because we haven’t had as much rain as we normally do in the summer. But I sure hope winter brings some rain so we have gorgeous spring flowers!
